Select tracker file… picks the workbook you commit into — the one that keeps the charts. Import history… is a one-time step that copies rows out of a different, older tracker into it. They are two different files: don't pick the same one for both.
Pick the shared .xlsx once — it's remembered, and every machine can commit to the same file. Rows are added to the All Data sheet in place, so a workbook's charts and formulas are left untouched and fill in on their own. Re-committing the same product, batch, date and element corrects that row instead of duplicating it, and simultaneous commits are merged automatically. The workbook must be closed in Excel while you commit.

These are guaranteed minimums, so the lines sit below the label claim — a 5% warning on an 11.2% claim draws at 10.64. Save & redraw charts applies new warning/limit percentages — no data is changed. Rebuild charts rereads the All Data sheet and redraws every chart — use this after you edit rows there by hand (workbook must be closed in Excel). To replace one sample's tracked results, load the report and commit again: matching rows (same sample type, batch, date, and element) are updated in place, not duplicated.

Automatic backup

Choose a backup file once — the app then re-saves it automatically after every change (sample types, users, template). Requires Chrome or Edge.
